  • 3.0003 cup Lager beer or ale
  • 3.0003 cup Flour
  • 2.0002 Tbsp. Paprika
  • 6.0006 Garlic, large cloves chopped finely
  • 3.0003 lb. California Avocados
  • 0.000 Vegetable oil - as needed for deep frying
  • 0.000 Salt - as needed
  • 3.0003 cup Salsa

Instructions

  1. METHOD
  2. To make beer batter, whisk together beer, flour, paprika and garlic until well blended; let stand at least 2 hours.
  3. PER ORDER
  4. Peel and cut half an avocado into 6 wedges. Dredge each wedge in reserved beer batter. Deep fry in 375°F oil until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Drain well; season with salt. Serve with 1/4 cup salsa.
