VERDE MARGARITA

A creamy, delicious savory Margarita made with reposado tequila, Cointreau, fresh lime and ripe Fresh California Avocados. Served in a kosher, celery salt, green peppercorn rimmed glass. Perfect with chips & salsa.

Ingredients

  • 2.0002 oz. Cabo Wabo® Reposado tequila
  • 1.0001 oz. Cointreau® or orange liqueur
  • 1.0001 oz. lime juice
  • 1.0001 oz. simple syrup
  • 0.250¼ large, ripe Fresh California Avocado
  • 2.0002 Tbsp. chopped cilantro
  • 0.000 Cilantro sprig, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Place the rimming mixture in a small bowl.
  2. Wet outside rim of rocks glass with a lime wedge.
  3. Dip into salt/peppercorn mixture until coated. Set aside.
  4. Combine ALL of the ingredients in a blender (without ice)
  5. Blend for a few seconds.
  6. Add about a cup of ice and blend until smooth.
  7. Pour into rimmed rocks glass.
  8. Garnish with cilantro sprig.

Serving Suggestions:
RIM: Mixture of Kosher salt, celery salt and crushed green and/or white peppercorns.
