Sweet onion, garlic and spices make this guacamole a perennial favorite.

(2-inch) sweet onion, chopped

fresh cilantro, cut finely with scissors

Instructions
- Chill avocados. In a large bowl mash the avocados, leaving a good amount of chunks.
- Stir in remaining ingredients except lime juice.
- With a spatula, smooth the guacamole flat across the surface of the bowl.
- Sprinkle with lime juice to keep from browning.
- Chill for about an hour.
Serving Suggestions:
Place in a decorative serving bowl and garnish with cilantro, parsley and olives.
*Large avocados are recommended for this recipe. A large avocado averages about 8 ounces. If using smaller or larger size avocados adjust the quantity accordingly.
Guacamole is best made as close to serving as possible. For short-term storage, seal in an airtight container with a piece of plastic wrap against the surface of the guacamole.
