Ingredients
- 3.000 3 cupsLager beer or ale
- 3.000 3 cupsFlour
- 2.000 2 Tbsp.Paprika
- 6.000 6 Garlic, large cloves chopped finely
- 3.000 3 lbs.California Avocados
- 0.000 Vegetable oil - as needed for deep frying
- 0.000 Salt - as needed
- 3.000 3 cupsSalsa
Instructions
- METHOD
- To make beer batter, whisk together beer, flour, paprika and garlic until well blended; let stand at least 2 hours.
- PER ORDER
- Peel and cut half an avocado into 6 wedges. Dredge each wedge in reserved beer batter. Deep fry in 375°F oil until golden brown, about 3 minutes. Drain well; season with salt. Serve with 1/4 cup salsa.
